Securitas are a security services business employing 330,000 employees across 53 countries.

The UK arm of their business boasts an organisation of over 11,000 making them one of the UK’s largest security providers.

The Need

With the Apprenticeship Levy fast approaching, Securitas, like many UK businesses, were looking at how they could mitigate their levy spend.

The business was looking to put 9000+ people through industry related apprenticeship training in a three-year period. Pulling together a new team of people to project manage the roll out of the apprenticeship sign up and to support the growth of the L&D department was going to be a significant challenge.

The Solution

Securitas needed to move quickly on this project.

We worked closely with the HR leadership team to help shape and design what the new department would look like. We then took the time to understand exactly what the business needed both culturally and from a technical perspective.

We fully mapped the apprenticeship provider market, giving Securitas the information needed on the external market for talent. We delivered our shortlist, resulting in us building an end to L&D team in a short period of time.
